App. its happened a few times on a CBC, it will send the top part, the diff doesn't run (blanks) and it goes ahead and sends it w/ HIDE HIDE HIDE HIDE for the diff!
We used to stress accuracy in healthcare, now its 'close enough' which in reality is probably OK but ... it 'feels' wrong.

reprint labels
when ordering -we need reprint labels when receiving!!!!!
instead, clucky Sunquest/Mysis makes you go into another fucking function called SMART
and you have to have *WRITTEN THE ACCESSION NUMBER ON A PIECE OF SCRAP PAPER* AND PLUG IT IN TO REPRINT- of course you are NOT going to just remember it as phones are going off and everything is hectic around you
new Mysis SUCKS

results x 2
Now this has happened with patients and we call it wtf? results- somehow LARS/Mysis combines two patient results in one. This is a pic where it happened when resulting a blind duplicate- you can see it obviously took some poor saps results as well. Of course you close the window and maybe even LARS and restart- but is this a good thing? It never happened with the ole' blue screen roll n' scroll.

Start with something positive
LARS is a module of Sunquest that allows you to review results, in our particular case, hematology and coag results, before crossing over into the patient's file. It replaces the old "roll'n scroll"
The positive? Its.. colorful.
