Awesome updated software- are you sure you want to chage this accession number?

When resulting controls in LARS. Yes. Fuck, yes, I have 3 controls and BDUPs I want to change the damn accession number. 1 step forward, 3 steps back. Making us slower and less productive. Yay. Oh yeah, quit skipping to the next result when I am *in* an accession number and therefor fouling everything up.

Space instead of a - or ; for code or freetext

Except, sometimes you can't tell that the blank space a character wide space is there and extra space fouls it. Why change what what works. You knew there was a - or ; there. You can *see* that. Wile E Coyote. Supergenius LARS software developer.

Oh yeah- recalculated differential

Just dandy- so you go to revview a slide and *sometimes* even though you only put morphology on the review and didn't change a number of the differential... it will 'recalculate' the absolute numbers of the count and put it out as a corrected report.

Unless you use the old roll n' scroll which they want to do away with.

how about *not* going to something that doesn't work right.

autovalidation sends blank results!

App. its happened a few times on a CBC, it will send the top part, the diff doesn't run (blanks) and it goes ahead and sends it w/ HIDE HIDE HIDE HIDE for the diff!
We used to stress accuracy in healthcare, now its 'close enough' which in reality is probably OK but ... it 'feels' wrong.

FREEZE!

Here's hoping once we upgrade we won't be ground to a halt.

Really hard when doctors and the floor are calling for results.
